The facilities were good for the price. the bathrooms were clean and well maintained. However, the soundproofing in the room was lacking, making it difficult to sleep with noise from neighbors. The steep stairs might be challenging for some, but it was manageable. A microwave would have been handy to have mentioned. Overall, the experience was positive, but the noise issue could be improved.

Damp bedding inconsistency!!! Hallways reek of cigarettes, almost unbearable!!! Taxi arrangements turned costly!!! Noise from late-night garbage collection can really disrupt the peace!!!

hostal costa azul has an amazing location, just a short walk from a supermarket and a lovely café that serves fantastic breakfasts. i felt so well taken care of during my stay. i even had a great view of the cathedral from my room!
